DB2 received data that could not be used as specified in the statement because it is not convertible to an acceptable format in this machine environment. position-number identifies either the host variable number (if the message is issued as a result of an INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, SELECT, SET, or VALUES statement), or the parameter number (if the message is issued as the result of a CALL statement, or the invocation of a function). reason 01 IEEE (BFP) floating point instructions or instruction emulation is not available. This support is called the basic-floating-point-extensions facility, and is discussed in detail in z/Architecture Principles of Operation.System action: The statement cannot be executed. Programmer response: This host variable or parameter requires machine instructions that are not available on this machine. These instructions must be available to DB2 to perform the requested operation. Run this statement on a machine that is capable of supporting the required operations.
